Volunteering with hyh gives you the opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills as well as helping us to continue our vital work supporting young people and their families across Hertfordshire who are homeless or at risk of becoming so.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is a great way to make a massive impact to the local community, it really makes an enormous difference to Herts Young Homeless as it allows us to go the extra mile to help the young people we support in terms of raising additional funds, freeing up time for front line support workers to focus on the young people and generally helping us all achieve our overall goals.
It has great benefits to you as a volunteer and can be a great way to connect with others, learn new skills and be involved in new experiences. It can help keep you motivated and improve mental and physical health as well as giving you a new sense of purpose.
