What do you do?
I am a current placement student at the Hertfordshire Business school. In my role, I improve the student experience and ensure that everyone gets a degree, no matter thier background.
I also study geography and I specialise in human geography. I care about people and cultures, and making a positive difference.
What are you passionate about?
The power of education. I believe education is the greatest way to tackle misconceptions and to bring wider knowledge about all things around us, and making sure everyone has an opportunity to be in that space of learning and understanding knowledge.
What three words describe you?
Determined, Nerdy, Excitable.
Why did you want to be part of the Youth Advisory Board?
I wanted to join because it was a chance to not only learn more about the work of homeless charities, but allow me to do my part in helping reduce youth homelessness. I hope to further the impact of charities that address this.
What are you most excited to do as a member of the Youth Advisory Board?
To meet with other like-minded people, whether within the youth advisory board or beyond, because I am passionate about this issue and working with them to make a positive impact.
What change do you hope to help make by being part of the Youth Advisory Board?
To ensure that there is a wider understanding amongst everybody in Hertfordshire about homelessness, as well as to be able to equipt young people with the knowledge and understanding of the charity and how it can help them.
What's one fun and unusual fact about yourself?
I once managed to sneak into a zoo enclosure in Germany, without realising that it was a kangaroo enclousure!
