What appealed to you most about joining hyh?
Working for a local youth homelessness charity which focuses on prevention and addressing the underlying causes of homelessness. I am constantly inspired and motivated by the work of our front-line staff who are so passionate and skilled at supporting young people and their families.
What is the most challenging part of what you do?
Raising funds is never easy, especially during a cost of living crisis. However, I manage an incredible team of fundraisers who give everything to help secure the funds we need to keep our vital services running.
What is the most rewarding thing?
Hearing from the young people we have supported about the difference the charity has made to their lives and the lives of their families.
What do you hope to achieve whilst working at hyh?
Secure long-term sustainable funding to increase our impact, taking us one step closer to breaking the cycle of youth homelessness.
