In a nutshell, what do you do?
I go into schools and youth groups and educate young people about real life issues to try and prevent and break the cycle of youth homelessness.
What appealed to you the most about joing hyh?
I volunteered for hyh when I was a student and I loved the work they do, the supportive team and the chance to make a difference in my local community.
What is the most challenging part of what you do?
The most challenging part of my job is trying to sit down and do admin when I love being on my feet, out and about or in a classroom!
What is the most rewarding thing?
The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the feedback from students following our lessons, sharing how useful the subject was and how they know who to talk to now if they ever need to.
What do you hope to achieve whilst working at hyh?
Whilst at hyh I hope to ensure that all young people in Hertfordshire know where to go to get vital help and support if they ever need it.
