In a nutshell, what do you do?
I work with families experiencing conflict to facilitate difficult conversations, help them make positive changes and improve their relationships.
What appealed to you most about joining hyh?
I liked that hyh was passionate about early interventions and had a focus on working with young people and their families to prevent homelessness ever becoming an issue.
What is the most challenging part of what you do?
The most challenging part would be when a young person or parent isn’t receptive to making their own changes to improve the relationship.
What is the most rewarding thing?
When you can see that the family is putting the tools discussed in sessions to good use at home and having more positive interactions together.
What do you hope to achieve whilst working at hyh?
I hope to make a real difference to young people and their families’ relationships (and lives!).
