In a nutshell, what do you do?
I co manage our prevention services which include, education, mediation, health and 16/17 year homeless hub.
What appealed to you most about joining hyh?
The opportunity to be a part of a dedicated organisation, working alongside people who genuinely care and want to make a difference.
What is the most challenging part about what you do?
The most challenging part is managing the unpredictability of each day; however this is also what makes the role so interesting and can bring about some of the most rewarding times!
What is the most rewarding thing?
Knowing that our services are giving young people and their families the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of one another and make positive informed choices.
What do you hope to achieve whilst working at hyh?
I hope to continue to work as a collective to break the cycle of youth homelessness, to continue making a real difference to young people and their families, helping them make changes in their lives for the better.
