Partner with Us To End Youth Homelessness in Hertfordshire

Every young person deserves the opportunity to build a secure, independent future.

At Future Roots, we provide more than accommodation. We give young people who have experienced homelessness the stability, support and practical skills they need to move into employment and lasting independence.

Future Roots was created because traditional hostel accommodation does not work for every young person. One of the main barriers is the way support costs are funded; when a young person starts working, changes to benefit payments means that their accommodation often becomes unaffordable. However, at Future Roots, young people can take up employment while continuing to receive the support they need. This approach enables young people to gain valuable work experience, develop independence and build a positive future.

Following the success of our first Future Roots home in Welwyn Garden City, we are opening a second seven-bedroom home in Hatfield, creating life-changing opportunities for even more vulnerable young people - but we need your help!

Any donations, no matter how big or small, will have a big impact on the comfort and quality of living that our housemates will experience.
