Hostels have different application processes. You can apply directly to some hostels if you visit them or their websites but for some you will need to be referred to by an agency such as your local Council.

All hostels are managed by different organisations; therefore they have their own rules. For instance: some allow visitors while others do not. Once you have applied for a hostel, they will interview you before offering you a space and they will also explain the rules that the particular hostel has.
